A Draft of a Corporate Financial Plan

This master’s thesis is focused on a Draft of a Corporate Financial Plan for industrial company P-D Refractories CZ a.s. for years 2019 to 2022. First chapter of this master’s thesis is oriented in goals, methods and approaches of this thesis. Next part is aiming at theoretical solution for financial planning. Third chapter contains information about analyzed company, application of selected methods of strategic analysis and financial analysis including evaluation of the state of company and detection of potential deficiencies. Last chapter of this thesis is focused on suggestion, formation and evaluation of the financial plan for P-D Refractories CZ a.s. for next four years.

Suggestions for Improvement of Tangible Fixed Assets Management

This thesis focuses on issue of tangible fixed assets management in the company DT – Vyhybkarna a strojirna a.s. in the Prostejov city. This company produces, installs and restores turnout trackwork for railways, trams and underground tracks. The first part of this thesis analyses current situation of tangible assets and its handling, based on the evaluation of the maintenance department. Afterwards it defines weak parts and reveals shortages, on which an improvement suggestions for optimalizing and melioration of that state is made. At the end of this thesis is made an economic evaluation of the suggestions and expected changes in case of the implementation.

Evaluation of the presence of fine and ultrafine particles in the air in an industrial zone

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of the presence of the fine and ultrafine particles in an industrial zone. At the beginning of the theoretical part, dust particles and their division by size are described. Subsequently, sources of particles, methods of their measurement are mentioned and methods of analysis are described in more detail. Significant part of the research is devoted to health risks related to exposure to particles, the fundamental impact on the environment is also mentioned. The experimental part describes the measurement conditions that took place outdoor near an unnamed industrial zone. At the beginning of the experimental part, the used devices are presented. Subsequently, measured and graphically evaluated data on the concentration of particles in the air are presented. Particles collected on filter were used for analysis of selected metals. Analysis of selected metals was performed also on the samples of soil and plant material. The obtained metal concentration data were evaluated and commented.

Lifetime in one company. Elektropřístroj Písek. Survey of Czech society in 60. - 80. years.

Abstrat: The aim of this thesis is to reconstruct the everyday life of employees of Elektropřístroj Písek, by using the methods of oral history and other archival sources. Every single period of time was affected by building a socialist society and its consolidation. Helping the farmers by patronage of JZD was later replaced by a companionship with a soviet enterprise. Also work and social conditions were changing during particular periods of the comunist regime. A democratisation process and a more free society that culminated in the year of Prague Spring, which was reflected both in employees' initiative and in the company organization and its economy, was characteristic of the sixties of the last century. The August invasion ment a sudden change and the following period of condition consolidation completely suppressed liberal tendencies of previous development. The whole period is completed by stagnation in the eighties, atempts of ecomonic revival after M. Gorbačov's appointment, the revolution in 1989 and denationalization of the company during main privatization. An Industrial Buyer

Purchase represents one of the fundamental functions of any company regardless of whether the company operates in the field of manufacturing, commerce or services. Purchasing Officers are, therefore, essential for any business. The aim of this Bachelor's thesis is to evaluate the activities of the Purchasing Officer in the SINOP SMP company and propose changes to improve the efficiency of the company's Purchasing Department. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part.The theoretical part describes organizational market and definitions of purchase and Purchasing Department.The practical part examines efficiency of the operation of the company's Purchasing Department with a special focus on the department's management i.e. whether employees communicate with each other without problems, how complaints about material or goods are handled, and how suppliers are selected. The objective of this part is to present a controlled depth interview with the management of the Purchasing Department and other managers. Case studies on the process of selecting suppliers and handling complaints about material or goods are presented, too.

Analysis of Company by Selective Methods

This thesis is focused on the analysis by means of appropriate analytical methods. The theoretical part defines the content of the concepts and describes selected methods for its measurement and evaluation of factors placed upon it. The practical part applies the selected method for enterprise DSB EURO ltd. In conclusion summarizes the lessons learned and proposed measures for the future development of the company.

Financial analysis of the industrial enterprise

Financial analysis is the important device of assessing the financial situation of enterprise on the basis of the financial statements for several periods. It serves for decision making for both owners and shareholders, and banks and state assemblies. After the performed financial analysis the enterprise should be able to decide about the use of free funds, about its structure of assets and about the way of the funding to the future. The theoretical part deals with the aim and the object of the financial analysis, users of the financial analysis and techniques for evaluation of the financial health of enterprise. The practical part determines financial ratios of the financial analysis, such as profitability of the enterprise or solvency, applied on the industrial enterprise. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the development of the financial situation in the selected industrial enterprise, identify the potential sources of the inefficiency and propose the measures for their elimination.
